A notable example would be the Russian BTR-80 armored amphibious personnel carriers used for technical rescue, medical rescue and NBC missions. |

Virtually all the vehicles utilized by Hungarian ground forces were manufactured in Italy. Below are a few examples of Italian military vehicles used by Hungary in WW2, along with basic technical data. |

Tankette L3/35 The L3/35 was a lightly armored two-man vehicle usually armed with twin 8 mm machine guns. It had a transversely mounted engine in the rear with the drive going to the front. Being large enough only for two persons, the driver sat on the right & the gunner / commander on the left. Hungary ordered 65 of these machines for its ground forces. |

Autoblinda 41 This armored car manufactured in Italy by Fiat Ansaldo was supplied to the ground forces of various countries including Hungary. Also a modification could allow it to run on train tracks. |
